Mono Energy’s packaged drinking water solutions come with everything required to sustainably deliver safe drinking water at your site. Mono Energy can either install solar powered purification units to existing water sources or install complete solutions which include pumps, solar modules and purification units attached to new boreholes or wells.

Mono Energy solar powered water purification unit

• Allows surface water to be used for drinking water systems
• Purpose-built controller connects pump to solar array and controls full system operation
• Pump can deliver purified water directly to storage tank
• Water purified by easily replaceable ultra filtration cassettes
• Intended for permanent or long-term applications

UF-A2W purification unit

• The UF-A2W water purification unit provides a stand-alone system for supplying clean safe drinking water for temporary and permanent applications
• Fast and easy to install, the UF-A2W is ideal for emergency response and temporary accommodation
• The UF-A2W is modular – a single unit can be used for small applications or multiple units can be installed together to supply whole communities

Solar modules

• Systems are powered by solar photovoltaic modules, with the number of the modules dependent on the specific site requirements
• The solar modules have no moving parts, require virtually no maintenance and typically come  with a  25-year power output warranty

Controller

• The small controller box is typically mounted on the same pole as the solar modules
• The controller’s in-built maximum power point tracker (MPPT) maximises the power provided by the solar array in all weather conditions

Pump

• Mono Energy offers two main pump options, the Sun-Ray (a surface-mounted or floating pump) or the Sun-Sub (a submersible pump)
• The motors in the pumps come in a range of sizes depending on the application and volume of water required
